Not surprised, haven't ever been a fan of 'pedigree dogs' because they are bred for looks and style not for the job they are supposed to do.. My last dogs were jack russel types.. Sam looked as though he had some staffordshire in his background but would hunt foxes like a beagle.. beautiful in his own way, but not pedigree at all except in my eyes.
