Unfortunately the puppy was not to be. Mum has just had to increase her work and the dog would have to be left for 12 hours whilst she was at work. So that's going to happen.
On the plus side I volunteered to work at the North Clwyd Animal Rescue where I'll be walking dogs whenever I want. NCAR is a great place that looks after dogs, cats, as well as rabbits. At the moment they have around 100 dogs, so they have a lot of walking to be done.
For me it's pretty much perfect! I cycle over there, walk some dogs for an hour or two, then cycle back home again. The weather is amazing at the moment so I'll be spending a lot of time up there.
Oh, but I haven't told them I'm a vet yet. Seemed easier.
