Results

Some of my results are out - turns out I have failed Introductory Pathology and Infectious Disease :( It's rather embarrasing considering my previous degree was in microbiology and infection. It's also rather annoying as I have to resit over the summer. There's only 1 thing for it, I'll have to start revising now. I guess it means the practical exam didn't go too well after all.

Poor you. Was it an OSCE prac. OSCE's are nasty. Good luck with the revision again. Still, Edinburgh is fun in summer...

It was a set of written and practical exams. Really not happy I failed and will spend lots of time revising between EMS and festival. Edinburgh is great here in the summer, I'm on my 4th festival now. Bring BD to Pleasance. I'd love to say hi.

I shall. He loves hanging out round ther at festival time...people feed him.

Do you know why they pulled you up on stuff? Was it the not-vet perpective thing? It's weird, but we had a couple of infection types (previous degrees and all) on my course who failed infectious disease too, so you aren't alone. It seems the vet perspective can take some adjustment, being er. fairly *unique* as we are.

It's a bit of a worry really.

Ah well. Good luck for revision. If you want random disease blog posts so you can play guess the pathology we'll happily oblige as a revision aide...
